            R&D Excellence

            SUPCON SOLAR focuses on innovation and R&D, and has formed a team with more than 100 members, over 70% of whom are research personnel. SUPCON SOLAR also owns provincial high-tech R&D center, which is China’s largest,multifunctional and well-equipped incubator for CSP technology and facilities. The center supports all necessary facilities, equipment and experimental conditions for innovation, and is able to perform system functional verification and application tests of heliostat, heliostat calibrating system, heliostat control system, and special tests of receiver, molten salt system and other auxiliary systems, covering the whole process of solar concentrating, thermal receiving and storage.

            SUPCON SOLAR persists in technology excellence to promote industrialization of CSP, and has developed cutting-edge intelligent heliostat, large-scale heliostat field control and molten salt thermal storage & exchange technologies. SUPCON SOLAR was also engaged in the preparation of General Requirements for the Design of Solar Tower Plants (PT62862-4-1) which was carried out by IEC for the first time, and the preparation of Solar Tower Plant Design Requirements of China SUPCON SOLAR is qualified as National High-tech Enterprise and Software Enterprise, and has undertaken a number of 863 Programs (National High-tech R&D Program) and local scientific research programs. SUPCON SOLAR has been awarded with provincial and municipal first prize of technological progress for three times, and was invited to attend the Innovation Exhibition of National Twelfth Five-year Plan.
